Biological Audit
Service Description: The
ABS Biological Audit is a survey, which
evaluates the health of the biomass in the secondary
wastewater treatment system.
Features: ABS
carries out both microscopic and microbiological
analysis at each trophic level including, rotifera,
protozoa, algal, bacterial and fungal. The ABS
Biological Audit identifies problems caused by biomass
which result in:
High effluent BOD |
High effluent TSS |
Poor settleability and low RAS
concentrations |
Excessive polymer operating costs |
Benefits: The
information from the Audit can be used to improve
process efficiency and reduce operating expenditure.
The ABSWastewater System Audit has many
benefits including:
1) Minimizing operating costs.
2) Optimizing process efficiency.
3) Defining operational
short-comings.
4) Eliminating biomass
settleability problems.
