Service Description: The
ABS Toxicity Reduction Evaluation (TRE)
Service is designed to identify wastewater or process
streams and/or chemicals which could inhibit or kill
the biological wastewater treatment system or cause
failure NPDES permit for Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET)
limits.

Features: Unlike
other companies, ABS uses the
traditional TRE problem-solving approach applied to
Toxicity Identification Evaluation (TIE) procedures
and also for identifying inhibitors and toxicants to
the biological treatment system. ABS has
developed unique and specialized microbiological
protocols for this purpose.
