Biomass "Blue-Print"

Service Description: The ABS was the first company to create a Biomass "Blue-Print". This service is designed to isolate and identify the key components of an indigenous (natural) biomass. The "Blue-Print" can then be stored for future use for reseeding after a kill or fermented on-site using Service Profile #18 Microbial Seed Fermentation to enhance performance of the system.

Features: ABS offers this unique microbiological service which provides a client with the ability to have your own biomass available and Off-the-Shelf.

The ABS Biomass "Blue-Print" Service includes:

  • Isolation of key microbial components in the biomass

  • Compares relative biodegradation capabilities of print versus the indigenous biomass

  • Specifies the key components

  • Provides storage capability and Off-the-shelf access

Benefits: The Biomass "Blue-Print" can provide a tool for obtaining your own seed sludge for start-up of a biological treatment system or for bio-augmentation with indigenous, acclimated microbes using on-site fermentation techniques.

The ABS Biomass "Blue-Print" Service has many benefits:

1) Access to the indigenous, acclimated biomass.

2) Access to acclimated seed required for start-up and for bio-augmentation.

3) Minimizes costs of start-up.

4) Provides insurance by having a "Blue-Print" on file.
